Role: Lifecycle Marketing Lead
Why did you join Fast?
Fast is doing some pretty cool things with crazy growth potential that excited me. Most of my experience has been at enterprise companies, so I've always wanted to work at a startup where I could have an outsized impact. I also loved everyone I interviewed with, which is pretty rare, so I knew it was an opportunity that I couldn't turn down.
What were you doing before?
I've been doing lifecycle marketing pretty much my entire career. I initially started in the retail e-commerce space before I hopped into the tech scene at Adobe. Zendesk was the last place I was at before Fast, where I built the retention marketing function there before switching to lead the integrated campaigns team for their new sales product.
Where did you grow up, and what were you like as a kid?
I grew up in San Jose, California. I was a very studious and curious kid that loved learning and trying new things. Nothing from my childhood really stuck except for athletics. I looked forward to P.E. every day!
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Finishing my first marathon in Chicago.
What's your productivity hack?
I take breaks throughout the day, especially when I feel stressed or overwhelmed. The breaks usually consist of meditating and/or taking a walk outside. No doom scrolling. Any tasks, no matter how small, I put in Asana so I never have to try and remember what I'm supposed to do next. During deep focus time, I turn off app notifications, put my phone in another room, and turn on music.
What's the last show you binge-watched?
“Mare of Easttown” on HBO. I love Kate Winslet.
Living or dead, who would you like to interview and why?
To be honest, I don’t really have a particular person in mind. Any strong, powerful, and inspiring woman who’s had to overcome a lot in her life to get to where she’s at. And that can be an influential figure like Michelle Obama or Oprah, or it can be an everyday woman as well. I love hearing women’s stories, especially those who can be real, open, and vulnerable about their journey.
What food can you eat uncontrollably?
Any food. I love food. But I'm mostly obsessed with sushi and ramen.
What's your top travel destination?
This question's tough because there are so many beautiful places! I love the outdoors so I would love to visit Patagonia again but the Argentinian side. New Zealand, South Africa, and the Dolomites are my next top travel destinations.
Where do you see yourself a year from now?
Continuing to build and scale at Fast, completing another triathlon, traveling again, and, hopefully, be a dog mom to a Miniature Australian Shepherd. That would be the dream!
