Role: Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis
Why did you join Fast?
There were three main reasons I decided to join Fast: the diverse and innovative team, the game changing product, and the amazing growth potential of the company within the e-commerce space and beyond.
What were you doing before?
Prior to Fast, I was the first Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) hire at TripActions, a technology-first business travel management startup. During my time there, I led companywide forecasting and planning efforts while scaling finance practices through significant company and revenue growth. Prior to TripActions, I spent time at Cisco Umbrella and Cisco.
Where did you grow up, and what were you like as a kid?
I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I loved spending time outdoors, reading, and on arts and crafts.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
An accomplishment I’m very proud of is earning the CFA Charter, a rigorous credential for finance professionals. It involved over a thousand hours of self-guided learning, studying, and practice exams paired with four years of work experience. I passed all three exams consecutively and was one of the youngest recipients of the CFA Charter when I received it in 2018.
What’s your productivity hack?
Excel keyboard shortcuts.
When did someone’s kindness toward you make a big difference in your life?
It’s challenging to pick one example. I’ve been fortunate to meet so many selfless, kind, and compassionate people. I’ve lived in six places in the past five years and am very grateful for the friends I’ve met along the way that have made each city feel a little more like home.
Who’s your celebrity doppelgänger?
I’ve been told many times that my doppelgänger is Anna Kendrick – which is a huge compliment!
Living or dead, who would you like to interview and why?
Alexander Hamilton. The story of how he established our country’s banking system is fascinating. I admire his patriotism, work ethic, and tenacity to achieve his goals. I would recommend Ron Chernow’s “Hamilton” to anyone. And the “Hamilton” soundtrack, of course.
What’s your top travel destination?
My top travel destination is Big Sky, Montana. It is paradise for all outdoor enthusiasts – biking, skiing, hiking, backpacking. It’s also the most beautiful place in the world.
Where do you see yourself a year from now?
Here at Fast continuing to build a world-class finance team and working with my wonderful teammates across the globe.
