Fast x Bloomreach: Introducing one-click checkout for emails, SMS messages, search results, and so much more

As Fast’s new Executive Director of Partnerships, one of my responsibilities is to bring Fast’s one-click checkout capabilities to every single part of the customer shopping journey. Today, I’m excited to share that we’re doing just that – by partnering with Bloomreach, an industry leading customer experience platform that enables some of the world’s largest companies to personalize their digital experiences, improve product discovery, and easily manage their storefronts.

Starting today, we’re bringing our one-click payment button, Fast Checkout, to the Bloomreach Engagement platform. That means all companies that use Bloomreach Engagement will be able to easily embed Fast’s one-click checkout capabilities in their email, text, WhatsApp marketing campaigns and much more.

Fast is able to do this because of technology we’re pioneering called headless checkout. Headless checkout allows merchants to use their marketing channels – ads, emails, product reviews, articles, social media, etc. – to facilitate checkout experiences everywhere, without requiring potential customers to navigate to their online stores. Imagine seeing a product and the Fast Checkout button under it in an email or blog post. That’s exactly what it looks like. In short, Fast headless checkout allows shoppers to check out anywhere in one click.

Consumer journeys have changed – and their expectations for best-in-class experiences have become the ultimate competitive advantage. According to the PwC | IAB 2021 Digital Ad Ecosystem Report, 59% of surveyed U.S. consumers indicated they would stop doing business with a company after several bad experiences, while 17% would stop doing business with a company after just a single bad experience. Every opportunity to successfully engage and convert a customer is business-critical. Fast works on all devices and browsers, gives customers a five-minute window to adjust their orders, and allows them to easily track and reorder products.
